€250,000 in funding announced for Waterford’s Architectural Heritage

Over €250,000 in Architectural Heritage funding for Waterford City and County has been announced by the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, Heather Humphries TD.

The funding is being allocated to 33 projects throughout the City and Council through the Built Heritage Investment Scheme and Structures at Risk Fund.

The schemes, which are being administered by Local Authorities, seek to encourage the conservation, regeneration and reuse of heritage properties as well as the employment of skilled and experienced conservation craft and tradespersons.
