2 x Part VIII Developments open for public consultation today

Development carried out by a Local Authority is often referred to as “Part VIII” development. This is reference to Part VIII of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) which sets out the procedure for carrying out such developments.

Such works would include developments such as the construction of houses, roads, swimming pools, public toilets etc.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the areas in which the proposed developments would be situated, may be made in writing, to the Director of Services, Roads, Water and Environment, Waterford City & County Council, Menapia Building, The
Mall, Waterford or by e-mailing ajacob@waterfordcouncil.ie before 4 p.m. on Wednesday 6th of September, 2017.
