Weather / Service Update: 12:30pm

Our Crisis Management Team convened again at 12:30pm and have the following points for public update.

 

 

  • We advise all traffic to stay off the roads for the next 5-6 hours until the peak of the storm has subsided.
  • Please keep away from quaysides, beaches and piers – storm surge is predicted to peak at 2pm.
  • Reports of structural damage and fallen branches/trees are coming in and we are prioritising these.
  • Crews/workmen have been pulled back from all but essential / life-threatening incidents.
  • Phone lines, social media and email remain open.
