Waterford Integration Strategy for Migrant Communities

The Waterford Local & Community Development Committee (LCDC) along with partner agencies, are preparing a three-year strategy to promote the integration of migrants who live and work in our city and county.  The purpose of the strategy is to make Waterford a more welcoming and inclusive place, and to eliminate all forms of prejudice and intolerance.

As part of this process, Dr Breandán Ó Caoimh and Margaret Ward have been engaged to independently undertake a two surveys:

  • A survey of migrants (first and second generations) who live or work in Waterford (available in various languages).
  • A survey, open to all, to measure attitudes to various nationalities, ethnic and social groups in Waterford

    trjying contact anyone responsible from this programme but failed .
    we are ethnic community we have sudanese school for yong people funded three years ago.

    need to meet someone to get information about integration of imgriation.
