Met Eireann have issued a Nationwide warning of an unstable area of low pressure today and tomorrow. Sporadic heavy downpours with lightning/thunderstorm risk and localised flooding 30-40mm in some areas.
Mist and fog still a feature with high humidity and a slack airflow. Warning in place until 12:00 on Thursday.
There is a high degree of uncertainty regarding the location of rainfall/ thunderstorms over the next 24 hours. Local authority SWATs are advised to actively monitor local conditions
A fresher west to northwest airflow follows on Friday with less instability, so lighter showers generally.
Feeling autumnal this weekend in light northerly breezes. Cooler both by day and night. Overall dry, but some scattered showers will present early on Sunday.
