Waterford Student Enterprise final broadcast

The Waterford Student Enterprise final will be broadcast on Thursday March 10th at 11am.

The final will be broadcast live on the Local Enterprise Office’s Facebook page and YouTube account, see link below.

Every year approximately 29,000 students participate in this programme nationally and over 750 students from 11 Waterford schools took part in the programme this year. They generate an enterprise idea, they research the market, they produce a product or service, brand it, market it and sell it. They learn about finance, marketing, prototypes, teamwork and the pressures of running their own business.

Nine awards will be given out during the broadcast including the overall senior winner, who will go on to represent Waterford at the national finals in May. Please support these students by tuning in at 11am on Thursday March 10th and distribute the link to anyone who think might be interested.
