Book of Condolence opened for Thomas, Bridget, and Tom O’Reilly

Mayor of Waterford City and County, Cllr. Joe Conway has opened a book of condolence for Thomas and Bridget O’Reilly and their grandson Tom, who died tragically in a road accident near Cashel, Co. Tipperary last week.

“I, on behalf of the people of Waterford City and County extend my deepest sympathies to Tom’s parents, Tom and Diane, recovering in hospital, as they try to deal with the loss of their young son and his grandparents.

Tipperary has been blighted by the loss of lives on the roads over the last few weeks, and my thoughts are with their families, friends and community during these dark times.

I would also like to express my gratitude to An Garda Síochána and the emergency services who attended the scene. Their compassion, care and professionalism in such tragic and sad circumstances must be commended.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha dílse.”
